House Guidelines
A shared commitment to a peaceful, respectful stay
River View Lodge is a private, self-guided retreat designed for meaningful stays, quiet moments, and time well spent together. These guidelines exist to protect the experience for all guests — and to ensure the lodge remains a place people truly enjoy returning to.
This page is intended as a high-level overview. Detailed, enforceable house rules and policies are provided and agreed to during the booking and Virtual Check-In process.
Respect for the Space
We ask all guests to treat the lodge, suites, and shared spaces with care and consideration. Please be mindful of doors, windows, furnishings, and appliances, and help us maintain the comfort and cleanliness of the space for those who follow.

Important Note
River View Lodge is a private property without a traditional front desk. For everyone’s safety and privacy, exterior doors should remain secured when not in use. Occasionally, individuals may arrive without notice seeking tours or information; guests should not grant access to anyone not associated with their stay.
Common areas are shared among guests unless the entire estate has been reserved privately. We ask that these spaces remain clean, uncluttered, and welcoming for all. Personal belongings should be kept in your suite, and guests are responsible for their own items during their stay.
River View Lodge is located in a quiet setting and is designed for rest and connection. Guests are expected to be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evening and early morning hours, to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone on site.
For the comfort and safety of all guests:
The lodge is a non-smoking indoor property
Pets are not permitted
Illegal substances and disruptive behavior are not allowed
Designated outdoor areas are available where applicable.
Amenities such as the pool and shared gathering spaces are provided for guest enjoyment. While we do our best to keep all amenities available, occasional closures for maintenance, inspections, or weather may occur.
Events, gatherings, or additional visitors beyond the standard occupancy must be approved in advance. Wedding weekends, private events, and upgraded gathering options are governed by separate agreements outlining specific terms and expectations.
Full house rules, occupancy limits, liability terms, and policies are provided and accepted as part of the booking and Virtual Check-In process. Guests are responsible for reviewing and adhering to those terms during their stay.
If you have questions at any point, we’re always happy to help.
